This challenging day will immerse students in a practical learning environment, simulating a real-life entrepreneurial experience. Teams will be formed consisting of 4-6 members, allowing them to leverage their individual strengths within the group dynamic. Over the day, the teams of students will have to generate ideas for the challenge set and then utilise different team members to research, develop a prototype, as well as generate an advertising campaign. This engaging workshop day-long event can accommodate up to 100 pupils in a large hall, where students not only hone their practical skills but also learn essential enterprise skills such as teamwork, communication, creative problem-solving, and an understanding of business principles. Ultimately, this challenge day empowers students to explore their potential as entrepreneurs, preparing them for future endeavours in the business world.

 

Students will gain hands-on experience in project management as they navigate the production timeline, set milestones, and establish roles within their teams. They will be encouraged to think critically about market needs and create innovative solutions while considering feasibility and sustainability. The event will culminate in presentations where each team showcases their prototype and advertising strategy, receiving constructive feedback from peers and mentors. This immersive approach helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, fostering confidence and entrepreneurial spirit in young learners.
