Meccano @ Swindon STEAM Museum

This summer STEMworks were invited to run three Meccano Challenge drop in days at the STEAM Museum in Swindon. The aim of the challenge was to celebrate the work of Isambard Kingdom Brunel and to inspire children visiting the museum to become the 21st century version by designing and building the transport system of the future! The visitors used junior Meccano to build tunnels, bridges, boats and trains, learning new STEM skill whilst having fun.
