QinetiQ has expertise in science, engineering and robotics which allows them to produce solutions to the world’s most challenging problems. They are passionate about inspiring the next generation of STEM individuals and are proud to be sponsoring this competition.
In this exciting and engaging interschool challenge, students will be introduced to the fascinating world of robotics. They will be given the opportunity to construct their own robot, and be taught the necessary programming skills. Students will then compete in a series of increasingly difficult challenges testing their teamwork, communication skills and resilience.
STEMworks will be visiting schools during the Spring term to deliver full day workshops, where a team will be chosen to represent your school at the final at QinetiQ, Malvern Technology Centre during the summer term (date to be confirmed).
