Worcestershire Primary STEM Challenge

Following the success of the Worcester City Primary STEM Challenge Pilot, we are excited to announce its return as the Worcestershire Primary STEM Challenge. This exciting initiative will inspire the next generation of engineers to drive the future economy of Worcestershire and beyond. Throughout the challenge, students will learn about structures and mechanisms, and use their knowledge to solve a construction challenge using K'NEX. Worcestershire LEP and Worcestershire County Council remain committed to supporting schools in this exciting opportunity through the sponsoring of the Primary STEM Challenge once again. STEMworks will be visiting schools from September onwards to deliver a half day workshop for up to 36 KS2 students, where a team will be chosen to represent the school at the area final in March 2019. The subsidised cost of the workshop is £70. To take part in this exciting challenge, please complete the registration form and return it to STEMworks.  Download the registration form by clicking here - Worcestershire STEM Challenge Registration Form 2018-19
